This is a full-time on-site role for a Trading Platform Engineer (MT5 & Centroid Bridge) located in Dubai. The Trading Platform Engineer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining trading platform software, particularly MT5 and Centroid Bridge. Daily tasks include troubleshooting platform issues, optimizing infrastructure, managing database operations, and ensuring smooth software integrations. Collaboration with various team members to enhance trading systems will be a key aspect of the role.
MT5 Platform Administration
Install, configure, and maintain the MT5 trading server, including access servers, history servers, and backup systems.
Manage MT5 users, groups, symbols, and data feeds.
Monitor server performance, latency, and execution quality.
Apply updates and perform regular system health checks.
Centroid Bridge Management
Set up and configure liquidity providers (LPs) via Centroid Bridge.
Manage routing rules, markups, risk settings, and order mapping.
Monitor execution times, slippage, rejections, and LP quote behavior.
Analyze bridge logs and FIX messages to investigate issues.
Liquidity & Market Data
Provide support for trading-related technical issues.
Investigate client complaints related to execution, slippage, or pricing.
Set up monitoring tools for uptime and latency tracking.
Collaborate with compliance, operations, and risk teams on trading-related matters.
Automation & Reporting
Develop and automate scripts for logs, daily system checks, and alerts.
Generate reports on execution quality, trading volumes, and performance metrics.
Work with the back office and CRM teams to ensure data flow accuracy.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Minimum 2 years of experience as an MT5 Administrator and Manager.
Proven expertise in Centroid Bridge operations and an understanding of trading flows.
Strong Forex market knowledge with hands-on dealing experience.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced trading environment and perform under pressure.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in Troubleshooting and Infrastructure management.
Experience in Software Development and Programming.
Knowledge of Databases.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
